Special Arrangements. Sites require visits! If your site is beyond the bounds of Greater Manchester, or the hinterland of the NorthWest or you wish to meet away from this catchment zone, the practice is willing to quote a competitive rate for time and travel distance.

Prototype House: Shown, takes advantage of the Suns' Rays, provides added winter warmth, and possibly use of the Earth's energy store instead of a boiler providing space heating & hot water.
 

 
Also featured in the Low-to-Zero energy house; the installation of Photo-Voltaic Cells to generate electricity, optional heat recovery unit serving the kitchen & bathrooms, heat-pump and/or solar-panel for central heating and domestic hot water, and super insulation: All accurately calculated by a competent HV services engineer using licensed software to meet the latest Government Standards. A Zero Energy version can currently be built for £148K (spring 2010) on your site. The house is designed to be flexible enough to meet your particular brief.

Original Foundations. The practice was established in August 1996 and since then in excess of seventy projects have been completed. This work builds on a previous twenty years experience in Local & National Government, and with a major global firm of Consulting Engineers.
Current Commitments. Currently (Summer
2011-12). Martin is Chairman of the  Solo Practice Group (SPG) - represented on the RIBA Northwest Regional Council and the Manchester Society of Architects (MSA) Council: Meeting regularly to discuss architecture and development of the UK construction Industry: To the University of Salford Centre for Research and Information (SCRI Forum) for whom commissioned research is conducted and advice provided.
Supporting Charity Organisations.  Member of the regions largest housing association (MDHA) - Advising the Board, National Trust (NT), the Society for Preservation of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). Sport England - Venue communications co-ordination for the Manchester Commonwealth Games 2002, and the London Olympics 2012.
